M.P.T. deals with brass turning and manufactures precision turned parts. Brass is a material that has particular characteristics that make it one of the most used alloys in precision turning. Excellent workability, great stability, ductile and very malleable, brass is ideal in the small metal parts sector. Furthermore, precision turned parts in brass are able to resist the effects of atmospheric agents very well, therefore they do not corrode like other metals. That’s why M.P.T’s turned parts are perfect for different types of applications.

The production of precision turned parts in our company takes place using technologically advanced machines and machining tools. The quality control instrumentation has also been improved with new digital equipment that maintains performance monitoring and recording of quality testing information directly in the IT management system. From M.P.T. we can produce a large variety of turned parts, large, small, with contours and profiling, drilling and milling.

The types of processing

We use automatic lathes to carry out internal and external machining. Among the main internal processes we perform drilling and threading on the internal surface of the piece (tapping).

Among the external processes we deal with threading, grooving and turning: in the latter we go to work on the external surface of the piece to give it the desired shape thus creating high precision turned pieces. In the threading process, a small part of the piece is removed, while grooves of different shapes and depths are created in the groove, according to the specific applications.

Our company produces precision turned parts that find applications in the fields of hoses, gas, heating, automotive, solar, high pressure, pumps, sensors, electronics, sheaths and pressure gauges.
